At Retirement Prosperity Group our goal is to take the long-view in planning when it comes to your future, your happiness and helping you have a prosperous retirement.

Before becoming a retirement specialist, Lisa worked for nearly two decades in the non-profit sector, personally tutoring battered women and children, pioneering new programs, and partnering with national church groups, civic leaders, and celebrities to open over 230 community literacy centers, after-school tutoring and education programs, and non-profit groups around the country.

As a mentor and national spokesperson for Life Care Funding and other programs, Lisa works closely with hundreds of top financial & legal professionals around the country, helping them educate clients on alternative solutions to traditional Long Term Care. Lisa also mentors hundreds of retirement advisors on how to build a business of transparency and how to use education, not salesmanship, to provide appropriate and needed financial services to clients – Lisa believes that the well-educated client is empowered to make his or her own best decisions.

Her mission is to bring real education to the financial services space so that every person has the opportunity to enjoy financial wellness in what should be the very best years of their lives – their retirement years.

Daniel Barram,RICP®– Case Design Manager 

Daniel is a Retirement Income Certified Professional and Case Design Expert. Daniel overseas the proprietary client plans we use in the Retirement Prosperity Roadmap process. He ensures that every plan is done with a holistic planning model and tailored to each individual client or family encompassing everything from Safe Money Strategies, New Long Term Care Solutions, Social Security Maximization and all aspects of a complete retirement plan.

Daniel has worked in diverse fields of business ranging from Financial Services, Insurance, Advertising & Marketing, Publishing, Audio/Visual Production to the running of whole companies as a General Manager or Chief Operating Officer.

His career started in Human Resources where he learned the important people skills that enabled  him to not only work in tandem with others but develop a leading role in all organizations he has worked in. He quickly moved up to Management with his analytical and fiscal skills.

His gift and love of writing led him to pursue his publishing goals and utilize his communication skills in writing engaging and motivating copy and becoming a Publisher for an online magazine in the Insurance and Financial Services business for business that he helped build from the ground up.

He has spent the last several years in the financial services space as the Chief Operating Officer for a multimillion-dollar firm that helps people with Safe Money solutions. He saw how incomplete planning can jeopardize a clients future.

He moved on to Co-Found and build his own firm (Retirement Prosperity Group) that addresses not only Safe Money Strategies but incorporates every facet of planning that retirees and pre-retirees face from Guaranteed Income for Life, Tax Free Solutions and Social Security Maximization to Long Term Care Protection and Investments (for those who want to hedge inflation on the market) all of this is part of a Retirement Prosperity Roadmap that is created for each client family. He manages and oversees the Case Design Team and the Retirement Prosperity Roadmap process as well as the Accelerated Retirement Benefits Division, which offers extreme tax relief to high net worth business owners.

 

Jennifer Jacobs – Client Services Director 

As the Director of Client Services Jennifer oversees all facets of client servicing and customer service for Retirement Prosperity Group. She manages the office schedule, financial transactions, client records, establishing the protocol and procedures for the office and monthly educational events held to educate consumers on their options in or near retirement.

Jennifer is a licensed financial professional and has experience in the health insurance space helping individuals and small groups through the healthcare maze to be able to get the maximum benefits while keeping costs as low as possible.

Additionally, Jennifer has over a decade of experience in customer service, hospitality and administration – she enjoys working with people.  Her passion for others has provided Jennifer the opportunity to interact with a number of individuals through extensive volunteer work beginning in her teenage years.  This includes community rebuilding in impoverished areas in Venezuela through Teen Missions International; mentoring children and young single mothers through Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the Annunciation Maternity Home; and advocating for abused children within The Children’s Advocacy Center.

In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys antiquing, all things vintage and is an avid cookbook collector.  When not working, she can often be found in the kitchen cooking for her vegetarian family and listening to records or planning the next dinner party.  She lives in Lansdale with her three inspiring children.

Ed Rivas

Ed Rivas – Retirement Income Expert & Estate Planning Specialist

Ed Rivas has two of the most distinguished designations in the Financial Services space – CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and a ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant). Ed has been helping individuals and businesses with their Life insurance needs since 1980. His goal has always been to obtain the greatest amount of benefit for the lowest possible cost for all his clients. Life insurance is his specialty.

He is very experienced in high net worth family needs planning as well as the myriad of business issues. Meg McCartney – Online Marketing Director

Megan is responsible for reaching out to potential new clients through various platforms, such as e-mail, Facebook or Google. Her creativity and attention to detail is evident in her ability to captivate and engage interest in a targeted market through a Google Ad or Facebook Video.

After achieving her Bachelor of Arts with a Minor Degree in Business from Arcadia University, Megan found a passion for Marketing and Business Planning. Her extensive background of over 10 years in Computer Technology, Digital Marketing and Event Planning have given her the skills and experiences necessary to hone in on her passion and optimize the company’s digital presence online.

In her spare time, you can find Megan always meddling on her computer learning about science, new technologies or playing the newest video game. Megan also loves spending time with her family, having dinner out at a restaurant or playing outside with her three dogs.

Darla Taylor – Director of First Impressions

Darla is the first friendly encounter for anyone who steps into our office. She maintains the warmth of office reception and the overall comfort of our clients from the moment they arrive, are greeted on the phone or welcomed to an event. In addition to client hospitality, Darla assists with the client services team in the coordination of educational seminars and client events, as well as appointment scheduling.

Darla has over two decades of experience in administrative roles, ranging from secretarial, customer service, financial services, insurance, and legal administrative support. Most recently, she has been a mobile notary and signing agent, handling document signings and real estate settlements. Darla has taken accounting classes and is currently training for her insurance license.

In addition to her experience, Darla is actively involved in church activities. In the past, along with homeschooling her now grown children, Darla taught both children and adults at her church, as well as played the piano and keyboard on her worship team. Today, she continues to volunteer at her church on the connection team, greeting guests and matching members with volunteer opportunities and small groups.

 

When her children were just toddlers, Darla spent countless hours volunteering at the Womens’ Outreach Center, helping wives of deployed soldiers, while living in Germany for a period of time. She was also the Consignment Manager of the Officers Wives’ Club Thrift Store.

When Darla isn’t hanging out with friends and family, you will usually find her curled up with a good book, hiking through the woods or bargain hunting. She also enjoys sewing, crafting and playing the piano.

 

Rick Solofsky

Rick Solofsky – Healthcare & Medicare Expert 

Rick has over 20 years of experience as a health-care professional and high-level consultant.  Rick also specializes in the area of Medicare and the interpretation of “Medicare Secondary Payer Law,” and how it applies to the Group Insurance Culture.

Guy F. Matthews, Esquire

Guy joined Eckell Sparks in 1989. He received his undergraduate and master’s degree in business Administration from Widener University. He earned his law degree in 1979 from Temple University School of Law and a Master of Laws in Taxation from Villanova University. Additionally, he has received the C.L.U. and Chartered Financial Consultant designation from the American College.

Guy concentrates in the representation and counseling of individual and corporate clients in business, estate, and financial planning matters. He personally handles all aspects of the estate planning process from the client interview to the drafting and execution of all documents. Guy has direct involvement with numerous corporate fiduciaries and has incorporated into his documents changes suggested by the particular fiduciary.

A financial professional since 1997, Jarrod has the in-depth knowledge of financial issues that come from 17 years of experience. His credentials include a B.S. in Finance (cum laude) from Salisbury University and the two most distinguished financial planning designations in the industry: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

As a United States Army combat veteran of Desert Storm, Jarrod is also passionate about supporting Veteran causes. His role as a VA Accredited Claims Agent allows him to help veterans with their VA claims.

Nick is the President and Chief Tax Strategist of Stovall and Associates, Ltd.

With extensive knowledge of the financial services industry and a solid understanding of the complex demands of diverse business settings, his experience provides invaluable perspective into the intricate relationship between tax and business issues.

During his tenure in the private industry sector, Stovall served as the chief financial officer for Glenn Corporation, E Energy Adams and Gradient Financial Group, LLC. He has also consulted in the public sector serving individuals and businesses in the areas of financial and tax planning. Stovall was an instructor with National American University, teaching upper division accounting courses and remains a mentor for aspiring accountants in the Twin Cities area.

Stovall founded what is now Stovall and Associates, Ltd., an independent certified public accounting firm. As owner, president, and chief tax strategist for the company, Stovall provides an invaluable perspective on the intricate relationships between tax and business issues to clients across the United States and Europe.

He earned the Masters of Business Administration in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of St. Thomas where he graduated with distinction. In addition, he attended Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota for the Masters of Business Taxation. Nick is unique on the CPA space in that he also holds his series 27, 7 and 66, as well as his life and health license. In addition, Stovall recently just published his first book: “Retirement Income an Owner’s Manual.”
